We all say “thank you” to someone for helping us carry a bag of groceries, cleaning, or cooking. We thank God for a new day in our life, which is very important. But have you taken the time to say thank you to your body? For what it does every day for you?
There is nothing wrong with saying thank you to your body. It just shows you love yourself and are thankful that you are healthy.
Talking to your body is not unlike talking to your plants, they love to hear that you love them. So, it is the same way with your body.
What you think of yourself can be very powerful and can make you happy with what you have, or what you see that is being positive.
Now, if something is wrong with you and you think everyone sees it, that is a negative thought. Nobody can see the things that you think are wrong with you unless you point this out.
This is what I hate and I would like to see it change.
For instance, a woman might not be happy because she has small breasts. or a man says he has skinny arms, or as we all say, we feel bad about losing our hair.
Sometimes, when we try to fix ourselves it comes out good, but there have been some people that wish they had been happy the way they looked because the plastic surgeon messed up, and you can see the results of what went wrong.
Or you spend a lifetime hating the way you look and look back when you are older and say “What the hell was I thinking? I was gorgeous” or “I was really Handsome.”
Many times it could be that the person who says you are ugly is just being jealous of your beauty. There are plenty of women out there that would say something like that to tear you down. Or the man you are with starts to tear you down so you get low self-esteem. People like that don’t even like themselves and are toxic to the environment around them.
Remember you are a child of God. He loves you always and wants the best for you! You are beautiful in His eyes.
Lift yourself up and see the beauty you have within you, give thanks to your body for what it does every day!
You have eyes to see, lungs that let you breathe, some of you have trouble but, I have noticed when you thank your body, you actually feel the difference.
You feel better when you speak positively about and to yourself.
Don’t let anyone say anything negative to you. If they start to say something to you, ask them to stop. And if they don’t listen, walk away.
Another thing to do, and this can be hard for some people, is to look in the mirror and say “I Love YOU” and say this every time you see a mirror and mean what you say.
Tell yourself you look beautiful, smile at yourself, believe in yourself. Always see yourself in the eyes of self-love and you will see a big difference in yourself!
So, say thank you to your body for being there for you in every way possible, helping you to fight whatever comes your way.
